Veronica was born in Glasgow but has lived elsewhere until about 25 years ago. When she returned to the city, she opened a craft shop to one of the units in The Briggait Centre and remained there until the centre closed.
It was then that Veronica took up painting and drawing at Glasgow School of Art evening classes also at Strathclyde University Learning in Later Life Department. Over the years she has painted various well known Glasgow buildings in oils, had some of these made into greetings cards and mounted prints. Her work is characterised by the strong use of colour.
